Kari E. Gray is a multi-award winning talented professional, who is a 25 year cancer survivor
and CEO is also a media guest, an insurance professional, a patent (pending) writer, a world
traveler, and also a community volunteer is an educator, a public speaker, wife, mother and
grandmother.
And if all that were not enough Kari is now founder of a 501(c) nonprofit called the 'GreenSurance
Co-op for Insured Alternative Health Care'. It is Kari's passion for life and helping others which comes across as a large hearted person whose message is candid, honest, educating, enlightening, inspiring and empowering.
With unmistakable honesty audiences can identify with, Kari's message changes lives as it empowers people who are inspired by her stories. As a young mother at just 27, Kari faced the unthinkable when diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. It was the double diagnosis of “no chance of survival” and the survival story that inspires people in their own lifes challenges.
With sheer determination to survive for her children, a never give up spirit, and alternative treatment options along with strong faith Kari Gray brought to her 'battle' with cancer the die fighting determination when medicine offered no hope.
It was the single empowering decision to look beyond medical approaches 25 years ago, that brought a complete shift in her healthcare choice and her life when she got that second chance.
A hope filled inspiring story of survival, Kari's powerful message is one audiences relate to as overcoming cancer, to then live a life not wasted is a story audiences are infused with their own empowerment.
Understanding how a near death experience can be a blessing when it inspires a person to find the their 'purpose', Kari's story is not only of a surviving cancer but of a person who, before it was socially acceptable. chose a direction that brought criticism from family, friends and her Dr., as well as abandoned by her insurance provider.
Like everyone before and since Kari's cancer battle who also make the alternative choice, denied health care coverage for alternative treatments is financial burden put on an ill person.
Making the alternative choice became in time far more than money well spent, it was that single life decision that proves how one life choice can help millions of others. As a intuitive person, Kari navigated the health insurance and health care systems and therein discovered the 'business' of what is called "healthcare".
As a visionary - problem solver - logical thinker Kari learned powerful life lessons and chose to 'rise from the ashes' which decades later meant a career change to insurance where she discovered how to create coverage she spent decades searching for; insured alternative health care.
Ensuring others can soon have access to what is long past due, Kari founded the first 501(c) non profit for insured alternative health care called the GreenSurance Co-op. Through this co-op 'voice', GreenSurance is how one amazing woman is "paying it forward" today.

Millions of people all across the U.S. choose alternative medicine; and this choice in 2014 is expected to reach $100 billion dollars. As an answer to conventional healthcare people are opting to pay out of pocket, even while insured, because they recognize alternative approaches are vastly superior to conventional wisdom. Informed people who choose alternative do so at great cost to themselves when left to self-fund their healthcare.
Today, a health plan community is on the horizon that's free of special interest groups, as it provides a refreshing solution to insured conventional healthcare.
It is as Albert Einstein observed "We can not use the same thinking used to solve a problem, that we used when we created it" and that's why this grass roots community movement is the solution for insured alternative healthcare........................
Today a new kind of health plan is in the making; but this one's not a government bandage. It's instead a health plan that provides answers to the current healthcare system for people who choose alternative treatments.

Obamacare has left millions confused, frustrated and perplexed as people across the U.S. face regulations that enforce coverage, as it imposes tax penalties for non-compliance of health insurance. The question is; Why would people choose not to be insured?
A variety of reasons it seems........
For some it's the cost. For others, they see the medical system like a money sucking parasite and they choose to neither support nor host it nor its counterpart; health insurance. For others it's because they see the treatment options in conventional healthcare as toxic.
For decades across the U.S. there's been a type of 'underground' movement for alternative medicine.
A movement that remained 'under the radar' until mainstream medical professionals saw the value in what was labeled as "snake oil" made the switch from allopathic to integrative approaches to healthcare.
While the money is in mainstream medicine, alternative treatments work without drugs or surgery. As millions make the green healthcare choice, billions are being spent for CAM (complimentary alternative medicine) as estimates are expected to reach $100 billion this year alone.
Thus the paradox; conventional or non conventional? Pay the penalty for non-compliance or purchase coverage for health insurance I don’t want, can't afford or don't want the treatment options provided?

Where did the GreenSurance idea come from? I'm a terminal liver cancer survivor who faced "no hope of survival" and in this journey I was denied coverage for my last recourse; alternative treatments. Left to self-fund my own healthcare, my life today testifies how effective alternative medicine is twenty-five years later.
Through this life experience I came to understand why the need for an insured option to self pay because self-pay is a heavy financial burden. For decades I searched for coverage after recovery, but it wasn't until I became an insurance professional that I discovered how to open the insurance vault to insured alternative healthcare.
Today GreenSurance is how people can together be the 'voice' that makes the impossible,possible and the uninsured insured for alternative healthcare, insured.
