Biography

Joseph (Joe) Santana is an expert in helping businesses charge up their performance, grow and thrive. He is a CEO, a Vistage International speaker where he regularly addresses the CEOs of companies ranging from one to in excess of 50 million dollars in annual revenue, and he is the Chairman of a major HR related think-tank group, whose members have a combined revenue that exceeds $290 billion. Some of his big company clients include The Federal Reserve, SONY Pictures, Lincoln Financial Group and ExxonMobil. His programs which help these businesses do everything from increasing their markets, making better decisions, hiring better people and fostering stronger more inclusive teams are all based on the practical application of the latest research in neuroscience. As a former executive with Siemens in the United States and a leader of a 300 employee outsourcing and consulting group in the Greater New York City area, he learned how small strategic changes based on a clear understanding of practical neuroscience could have a huge impact on success. Taking on a struggling outsourcing operation during a time of marketplace disruption, he proved this point by regularly growing its revenue by 17 to 50% every year. After leaving Siemens in early 2012, he went on to become a speaker, consultant and executive group discussion leader focused on teaching others how to apply these same practices to grow their businesses and address their most pressing challenges. As a speaker, his delivery style is highly interactive and encourages a lot of audience participation. Past attendees of his programs often comment on how enjoyable and dynamic, while at the same time highly insightful and practical they found his presentations. Speeches

This presentation targets CEOs and business owners that want to know how to make better hiring decisions as well as how to better leverage their marketing and sales investments to dominate their markets. The program focuses on a practical understanding of how people think and how to leverage that information to produce business results.

This is a slightly shorter version of the Manage the Brain program that focuses exclusively on understanding how prospects and buyers think in order to grow your business and dominate your market.

This program is the umbrella for a number of program provided to big organizations that want to create more inclusive and cohesive teams. Some subsets of this program can take as little as one hour, while other can take half a day. The objective of this program family to create instant connections between attendees from various walks of life that enable to be productive and engaged with each other as a team. Unlike Unconscious Bias programs that aim to teach people about the biases that prevent affinity and connection as a way of raising awareness to the problems and hopefully getting participants to work hard to overcome these challenges, this program simply focuses on rapidly (within the day), getting people to connect.

MY CAUSE

Cultural & Education

Building Cultural Bridges Between People From Different Backgrounds. I support this cause through my research and pro-bono speaking the development of techniques that companies can use to immediately eliminate the impact of bias and prejudices in their team members for varied backgrounds. My goals to show participants how they can instantly create the conditions that result in connections between themselves and others as well as teams of people despite coming from various races, ethnicities, and walks of life. Unlike Unconscious Bias programs that aim to teach people about the biases that prevent affinity and connection as a way of raising awareness to the problems and hopefully getting participants in the long term to work hard and pay for more consulting in order to overcome these challenges, my approach, which has already proven successful, is to simply focus on techniques for rapidly (within the day), getting people to connect inclusively. Since I do not charge for doing this research, the pro-bono programs or writing on this topic, I will apply these donations to offset my cost of research, development, travel, delivery, editing-proofing work, etc. I will also donate 20% of all donations to the American Council on Diversity and NJ based national non-profit. I believe together, we can heal divisions and build the bridges that will connect us all together in healthy, productive ways
